Nautica

Nautica is an American apparel brand of Authentic Brands Group (ABG) featuring primarily men's, women's, children's apparel and accessories, as well as home, watches, and fragrance. Nautica was founded in 1983 by clothing designer David Chu and a partner. The brand positions itself and is synonymous to the rollicking and adventurous American lifestyle. The company was sold to New York based apparel company State-O-Main in 1984 who adopted the name Nautica as their corporate identity; hence Nautica continued to live on. After another acquisition in 2003, Nautica is now owned by VF Corporation. The company introduced its first fragrance in 1992. Most of the Nautica fragrances are contained in blue-colored flacons and are based on aquatic themes.
